Gurren Lagann: Synopsis
Gurren Lagann follows the story of Yoko Littner, timid Simon, and ebullient Kamina. Simon and Kamina are underground residents who desire to travel above ground. They discover an odd object one day, which turns out to be the ignition key for a long-lost weapon. This object is known as Lagann. They defend themselves from an attack on the surface using the Lagann, with Yoko’s assistance. Due to some humanoid beings dubbed Beastmen and their use of “Gurren,” humanity is forced into a tight spot. While traveling to different locations, the team battles these Beastmen.
