World Trigger is one of the promising manga with over 224 chapters initially serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump from February 2013 to November 2018 later on transferred to Jump Square. The storyline centres around Monsters called Neighbors who suddenly start to appear from a gate. The manga was written and illustrated by Japanese Daisuke Ashihara. Unfortunately, World Trigger Manga Goes on Hiatus due to Author’s Health.
We don’t have details regarding Daisuke’s health issue. The manga is scheduled to return in the September issue of Jump Square
So far World Trigger went on hiatus once before, the first was still due to health issues with the series not appearing in the February issue and now World Trigger is going on hiatus and won’t be appearing in the July issue.
About World Trigger
World Trigger Manga has an anime adaptation which aired from October 2014 to April 2016 with 73 episodes. A season started in January 2021 to April 2021 while the third season aired from October 10, 2021, to January 23, 2022. You have the possibility to stream all these seasons on Crunchyroll. Toei Animation adapted it into an anime. Crunchyroll describes the series as:
One day, a gate to another world opened in Mikado City. Invaders from another dimension, referred to thereafter as Neighbors, overran the area around the gate, leaving the city gripped by fear. However, a mysterious group suddenly appeared and repelled the Neighbors. This Border Defense Agency independently researches Neighbor technology and fights to protect this world. In a short time, they managed to build an enormous base and prepare a defensive system against the Neighbors. it’s been four years since then

As for the Manga currently 224 chapters are out with 24 tankōbon volumes as of December 2021. Viz Media licensed it for English release.
Equally, a PlayStation Vita action game named “World Trigger: Borderless Mission” created by Artdink came out in September 2015. In July of the same year, Ganbarion developed an Android and iOS game entitled World Trigger: Smash Borders. Later on, the game was released on PlayStation Vita in 2016.
