It has finally be confirmed. ew days ago we were asking our self if Chainsaw man will have an anime adaptation Crunchyroll with stream the upcoming anime Chainsaw Man based on the Tatsuki Fujimoto manga of the same name. The anime will be available on the Crunchyroll Platform worldwide. Which Studio will Animate Chainsaw Man anime ?

Studio Mappa will be in charge of the animation of Chainsaw Man with Ryu Nakayama as director. He s well known for his work on Fate/Grand Order – Absolute Demonic Front: Babylonia, The Rising of the Shield Hero, One Punch Man, Hunter x Hunter: The Last Mission, Yatterman Night.

Who are the Staff Members that will be working on Chainsaw Man anime Project ?

As said earlier, we have Ryu Nakayama as director, the Chief Episode Director is Makoto Nakazono(JUJUTSU KAISEN, SSSS.Gridman). Screenplay will be by Hiroshi Seko(Mob Psycho 100, JUJUTSU KAISEN), Yusuke Takeda (Vinland Saga, JUJUTSU KAISEN) as art director. Character Designer is Kazutaka Sugiyama(Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation), Kiyotaka Oshiyama(Flip Flappers, Space Dandy) will be the Devil Designer. We have Tatsuya Yoshihara(Black Clover, Yatterman Night) as Action Director and finally Kensuke Ushio(A Silent Voice, Devilman Crybaby) will take care of the music.

Chainsaw Man Anime

Chainsaw Man is based on a manga by Tatsuki Fujimoto. It originally ran from 2018 to 2020 with 97 chapters and 11 volumes. The second part of the manga is expected this year. VIZ Media released the English version of the manga. Crunchyroll describes the series as below

Denji is a teenage boy living with a Chainsaw Devil named Pochita. Due to the debt his father left behind, he has been living a rock-bottom life while repaying his debt by harvesting devil corpses with Pochita.

One day, Denji is betrayed and killed. As his consciousness fades, he makes a contract with Pochita and gets revived as “Chainsaw Man” — a man with a devil’s heart.
